 | Victorian Whitby Jet Mourning Necklace Ref: CAT762
RECENTLY ADDED! This stunning Whitby chain necklace dates from around 1860 and it is entirely made from carved and engraved Whitby Jet sections.
It is 50cm (19-1/2") long and still has its original fastener. Suspended from the chain is a large engraved drop with recurring forget me not flower motif. The drop and its carved bale measures 7cm (2-3/4") by 3cm (1-1/4)".
In total there are six larges engraved panels with forget me not flowers and a further five small panels mounted on the top of the lower links, these smaller panels have the same engraved motif.
The necklace weighs 50 grams grams and is in excellent condition. Pieces of this quality and condition are a rare find and an absolute must have for a serious collector of Victorian Whitby Jet.

Victorian Whitby Jet Facetted Bracelet Ref: CAT757
RECENTLY ADDED! A Victorian Whitby Jet bracelet, circa 1870. The bracelet has an oval facetted centre section and matching facetted links.
The centre piece measures 3.8cm (1-1/2") by 3cm (1-1/8") and is 1.5cm (1/2") thick.
This is a good sized bracelet and has an internal circumference of 15cm (6"). The bracelet has been restrung on new elastic and will stretch comfortably to suit most wrists. It is in excellent condition. More Pictures...

RECENTLY ADDED! A pair of late Victorian or Edwardian vulcanite earrings with closed rose design. The rose is a symbol of love and closed rose the love of a child.
The earrings have brass clips for non-pierced ears and have been carefully cleaned.
Each earring measures 2.5cm (1") by 2cm (3/4"). The earrings still retain their original black colour and they are in perfect condition except for a tiny chip to the bottom of one earring.
