A few months ago I put a product slideshow on the site. I had a lot of positive feedback from people who appreciated seeing the jewellery being worn and the idea it gave of the scale and look of the pieces.
Unfortunately there were a lot of people viewing the slides and it exceeded the site's data transfer limit!
Over the coming months (Cecilia permitting) I intend to add more pictures to the product pages in the shop. This is a big job, but somebody has to do it ;-)

The Story of Whitby Jet
The Story of Whitby Jet by Hugh P Kendall is a small booklet, first published in 1936, which describes the rise and fall of the Jet Industry during the reign of Queen Victoria.
Hugh Kendall was honarary curator of the Whitby Museum and gathered much of his information on the Jet industry by interviewing Matthew Snowdon, a former Jet worker in the town.
This 27 page booklet is a must for any serious Jet enthusiast.
